I mentioned last week that I stagnated in my money area in 2024. I focused on my love life, family, and body and let money hang out in the back seat. I have learned that I fear going bigger and admitting that I want to make more money. I need to make more money. It’s time for me to stop playing small. As fate would have it, my boyfriend was laid off from his job on the day that my dad died. The timing has been a wake-up call for me to be the leader once again in my money area.

It is the end of the year and time for all of us to take stock of our Areas of Life. Look at your 12 areas of life and rate them from 1-10. 1 being excruciating and 10 being Perfect. The 12 areas are Time, Money, Career, Love, Body, Family, Friends, Fun & Adventure, Community & Contribution, Spirituality, Home, and Self.

Ideally, each area would be at an 8 or above. If you have any areas in this list that are below an 8, get honest about why and then ask yourself if there is any action you can take before the end of the year to bring it up. I did this and gave my money area a 7 and have a plan to bring in extra income and bring that rating up to an 8, at least!
