Hey ,

Growing up, sitting in the car with my family, fighting with my siblings, while my mom ever attempted to draw the ye old invisible line between us, she ALSO made up sh*t. Or did she...She told us this one story about turkeys. She told us that when a flock of turkeys needs to cross the road, they send one of them out first to make sure it is safe. The scout. 

If the turkey scout makes it, the rest of the flock can continue on their journey. 

Whether that is true or an old wives' tale...it got me thinking: 

Is that scout screwed or scrappy? Mayor or martyr? 

And most importantly, 

Am I the “turkey scout” for myself and others in my life? 

Here’s what I know to be true: 

I am out to cause BIG SHI(F)T in the world. 

That means that sometimes, I have to go first.

Lead the way for others. 

And be your GPS guide on your journey to your dream life.
